According to Hana Shaf-Brener, Eliahu Voles and his family lived in Shkud.
Jewish Gen’s Yizkor Book Necrology Database lists Eliahu Vals (Wallace).
According to Jewish Gen’s All Lithuania Revision List Database 1, the Voles family was already established in Shkud in 1871.
According to the Lithuania Deaths database, Eliyas Volosh, son of Aron Kalman and Mere, died in Skuodas in 1937, age 76. Whether this is the same individual as the Eliahu Voles in the chart above is unclear.
As of April 2014, Jewish Gen’s Lithuania databases provide no other information on the Voles family in Shkud in the immediate pre-war period. It seems that many members of Shkud’s Voles family left Shkud; several marriages, births, and deaths in the Jewish Gen records took place in nearby Plunge.
I could find no information on the Voles family of Shkud in Yad Vashem’s Central DB of Shoah Victims’ names. The listings do include some individuals with similar names (Valas, Walles) living in other towns in Lithuania.
