According to Hana Shaf-Brener, the widow of Mordechai Prus, a matzo baker, lived in Shkud with her two daughters: Fuma, who worked in a bakery (presumably her mother’s) and Bluma, who was in training in Panevežys.
According to Jewith Gen’s Lithuania Tax and Voters list, the Prus family was established in Shkud by 1846. According to the Lithuania Deaths index, Markus Prus, a carpenter, the son of Icik and Muse, died in Skuodas in 1935, aged 66. Could this be Mordechai?
As of November 2013, Jewish Gen provides no further information on Mordechai Prus or his family. Neither could I find any information on Yad Vashem.
