According to Hana Shaf-Brener, there were ten Pralgover families in Shkud.

1) Leib Pralgover lived in Shkud with his family. Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Tax and Voters Lists database indicates that in 1904 Leyba Pralgover, son of Iosel, was a poor butcher with two family members (assuming that this is the same Leib Pralgover that Shaf-Brener refers to).

2) David Pralgover lived in Shkud with his family. Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Tax and Voters Lists database indicates that in 1904, David Pralgover, son of Iosel, was a poor butcher with three family members (assuming that this is the same David Pralgover that Shaf-Brener refers to).

3) Yitzak Pralgover, 65, a butcher, was married to Gita (nee Erdman), 60. They had two daughters: Pesya (nicknamed “Peppa the Mute”), 29, a seamstress; and Feiga, 25, a seamstress. Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Marriages database records that Itsik Praglover was married to Gute (nee Urdang). Their daughter Frume, born 1899, married Abroam Preis of Siauliai in 1931.

The document “Jews in the Memory of Skuodas People” (see link this page) lists Itzik Pralgever in its business directory under “Meat trading;” his shop was on Ylakiu str. 3 (19). Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Tax and Voters Lists database indicates that Itsik Pralogver, son of Leyba, was a poor butcher with four family members in 1904 (assuming this is not a different Yitzak Pralgover).

Yad Vashem provides the following information on Yitzik Pralogover and his family:
