According to Hana Shaf-Brener, Rachel Margolis lived in Shkud.
Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Marriges database lists the marriage of Rochel, daughter of Yosel and Rode (nee Glazer) Mines, born 1904, to Faivel Margolias, son of Josel and Roche (nee Sifre), born 1907. The marriage took place in Kaunas, 1938.
Rokhl was my father’s first cousin; her father Yosel Mines was the brother of my paternal grandfather, Meyer Mines. Rokhl was also my father’s sister-in-law, as his first wife was her sister Chaya, who survived the Holocaust and submitted this card of testimony to Yad Vashem:
Rakhel Margolis was born in Skuodas, Lithuania to Yosef. She was married to Shraga. Prior to WWII she lived in Skuodas, Lithuania. During the war she was in Skuodas, Lithuania. Rakhel was murdered/perished in Skuodas, Lithuania. This information is based on a Page of Testimony submitted by her sister (http://db.yadvashem.org/names/nameDetails.html?itemId=787547&language=en).
As of October 2013, neither Jewish Gen nor Yad Vashem provides any information on Shraga/Faivel Margolis.
