According to Hana Shaf-Brener and Aviva Tirosh, there were four Kogenzohn families in Shkud.

Berl Kogenzohn, son of Mordechai and Tzvia, born 1878, was a farmer and horse merchant. He was married to Feiga Malka. Three of their sons and their families also lived in Shkud.

Abba Kogenzohn, son of Berl and Feiga Malka, was a merchant and farmer. He was married to Leah, daughter of Sarah and Chaim Mirkes. The couple had two young sons, Freidl and Mordechai, and a toddler daughter, Taube.

Mayer Kogenzohn, son of Berl and Feiga Malka, a tanner, was married to Chaya, nee Reif. The couple had a young daughter, Ita.

Chaim Kogenzohn, son of Berl and Feiga Malka, a merchant and farmer, was married to Leah, daughter of Shmariahu and Sarah Kohen. The couple had two children: a toddler daughter, Eta, and a one-year-old son whose name we do not know.

According to Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Tax and Voters Lists database, the Kogenzohns were already established in Shkud by 1871.

The Lithuania Marriages database records the 1939 marriage of Abel Benyamin Kaganzon, born in 1900 to Ber and Malke (nee Pelc), a widower. Abel was married to Leya Itman, born to Zelig and Reize Rivkind (Leya was apparently widowed or divorced). Sroel Khaim Kaganzon, born to Mer and Malka (nee Pelc) in 1899, was married in 1938 to Zelda Leya Kan, born to Shmarya and Sore Khoyekh in 1914 (not her first marriage).

Ber and Malke had at least two daughters. The Lithuania Marriages database records the 1933 marriage of their daughter Freide Mere Kaganzan, born in 1908, to Abram Nokhum Reif, a merchant, born in 1898 to Itsik and Mere (nee Bod). A second daughter, Hene Rive Kaganzan, a dressmaker, born in 1906, was married to Sender Sanelis Turk, a merchant, born in 1903 to Meer and Chane Tsipe (nee Bloch).

Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Internal Passport Database indicates that Shlioma Kaganzon, born in Shkud in 1903, a shoemaker’s assistant, living in Siauliai, applied for an internal passport in 1922.

Jewish Gen’s Yizkor Book Necrology Database lists Abba, Chaim, Dov, and Meir Kaganson from Shkud.
