According to Hana Shaf-Brener, there were two Kats families living in Shkud.

1) Shloime Kats, born 1908, son of Chaluna, a peddler, originally from Mosedis, lived in Shkud, togther with his wife (born 1912) and two children (born 1936 and 1938), whose names we do not know.

2) Alter Gedalya Kats, 50,  ran a small grocery, and was married to Reiza Mala, 48.

Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Marriages database records the marriage of Shlome Katz, born in 1906 to Khlaune and Elke (nee Kravich) of Mosedis, to Rivka Gurvich, born 1907 to Hirsh and Gita (nee Zalkind) of Liepaja, Latvia.
