According to Shaf-Brener, Yosef Glikman, who was married to Frida (nee Narasinski), had two sons: Mendl Leib and Mayer. He also had a daughter, Hinda, with his previous wife Sarah (nee Segal). Sholem Glikman (Yosef’s brother?) had a family.
According to Kehilat Shkud, Yosef Glikman was a bricklayer (52) who “achieved fame in the shtetl and its vicinity” (13), presumably for his skill at building ovens.
According to JewishGen’s Lithuania database (Tax and Voters List), Yosel Glikman, son of Leiba, was a homeowner and stove-maker in 1904. The Marriages database gives more information about Yosef: a widower, he married Frieda, a widow, age 33, in 1928. He had been born in Ylakiai in 1866. Hinda Glikman, born 1906, daughter of Yosef and his first wife Sore (nee Segal), married Tsemachas Groidantz in 1938. (According to the Lithuania Deaths database, Sarah Glikman, Yosef’s first wife, died in 1927.) According to the Passports database, Yosel Glikman had another daughter: Libe (born 1907), who applied for a foreign passport in 1937.
