According to Shaf-Brener, Yosef Faivus, son of Yakov and Chaya, a merchant, was married to Mara Henya (nee Gitkind). The couple lived in Mosedis before moving to Skuodas. They had two children: a son, Yakov, and a daughter, Sheyna.

According to Jewish Gen’s Lithuania Marriages database, Yosel Faivush, son of Yankel and Khaya (nee Miller), married Mere Hene (nee Gitkind) in 1927. Yankel was a merchant. They were married in Skuodas, but had previously lived in Mosedis. Yosel had a brother, Chaim, who had been born in Skuodas, and another brother, Idel, who was married to Gita (nee Yam).

Jase Faivus was born in Maisat, Lithuania. Prior to WWII he lived in Skud, Lithuania. During the war he was in Skud, Lithuania.
