According to Shaf-Brener, Asrael Chatskelson was married to Chaya (nee Urdang). They had a son, Avraham, and three daughters: Zelda, Hinde, and Miriam.

“Asriel Chazkelson was born in Skuodas, Lithuania in 1885 to Nakhum and Teme. He was a watchmaker and married to Khaia nee Urdang. Prior to WWII he lived in Skuodas, Lithuania. During the war he was in Skuodas, Lithuania. Asriel was murdered in 1941 in Skuodas, Lithuania at the age of 56. According to Jewish Gen’s Lithuania database, Frida Chatzkelson, born 1894, applied for an internal passport in Kaunas in 1933. She was married to Mr. Lurie.

According to Jewish Gen’s Lithuania database, Leizer Chackelson, son of Nochum and Teme [thus Asrael’s brother] married Leah Kuschinski in 1924. Both were from Shkud.

Asrael himself married Chaya Urdang (nee Rastomski – a second marriage?) in 1935. Asrael was born in 1887, Chaya in 1884. Nochum Chatskelson, son of Moshe Leib and Hinde Zelde, died in Shkud in 1937, age 77, of cancer.
