According to Shaf-Brener, Zundel Bunis and his wife, Dvora (nee Bloch) had four children: a daughter, Rachel, and three sons: Avraham, Gershon, and Shachne.
Avraham was “active in the youth circle” (Kehilat Shkud 44), and was also a member of the Shkud chapter of the Maccabi football team.

According to JewishGen’s Lithuania database, Abram Bunis, son of Yosel and Shore Riva, married Sore Bunes, daughter of Liber and Reize in Skuodas, 1929. Abram was a coachman. Israel Bunis, son of Sachne and Ester, married Dveira Korb in Seda in 1931. Both Israel and Dveira had been born in Skuodas. According to JewishGen’s Lithuania Deaths database, Ber Shakne Bunis, son of Yankel Leib and Sore, died in Skuodas in 1926, aged 40, of tuberculosis. The same database also lists the deaths of a number of Bunises who lived in Salantai, possibly members of the same family.
