Szimon Brojda was born in Lithuania in 1909 to Barukh and Rakhel. He was a shoe merchant and married. Prior to WWII he lived in Skuodas, Lithuania. Szimon was murdered in 1941 in Skuodas, Lithuania. According to JewishGen’s Lithuania Marriages database, Shimen Braude had a brother, Izrael, born to Mausha and Rokhel (nee Prop) Braude of Skaudvile. Izrael, a student, married Feiga Faktor, born to Abram Ber and Pere Leya (nee Shapira) Faktor of Skuodas. The marriage took place in Skuodas, 1938.
