According to Shaf-Brener, Riva Reyza Baskind (nee Beker), a widow who worked in a restaurant, had a son, Yosef, and two daughters, Ita and Menukha. According to JewishGen, Riva Reyza and her husband Yitzak had another daughter, Feiga, who died in 1933, age 18.
There were three other Baskind families in Skuodas, presumably relatives of Riva Reyza’s husband. Yehuda Baskind had a family about which Shaf-Brener recorded nothing. Moshe Baskind, a haberdasher, had a wife named Sarah and a daughter named Sheyna. Lieb Baskind, who worked in a clothing store and was a member of the Burial Society, had a wife and two daughters, names unknown (Shaf-Brener).
According to “Kehilat Shkud,” Lieb Baskind was one of the heads of the Burial Society (55), and was also a treasurer (27).
Among the younger people, Sheyna Baskind was “active in the youth circle” (Kehilat Shkud 44), and a member of the Shkud chapter of Hashomer Hatzair, as was Mina Baskind:
